NOVA Frimärken AB grundades 1980 av bröderna Göran och Stefan Heijtz, och ägs och drivs fortfarande av dem. Firman startade som en auktionsfirma men har med tiden utökat verksamheten till allmän handel med frimärken, vykort, brev, stämplar mm.

FRIMÄRKSAUKTIONER: Vår första frimärksauktion hölls i oktober 1980 och den sista i maj 2008. Under denna period arrangerade vi totalt 60 frimärksauktioner. Från och med hösten 2008 arrangeras frimärksauktioner i samarbete med AB Philea.

STÄMPELAUKTIONER: Den första stämpelauktionen hölls i mars 1981 och fram till 2008 har totalt 39 stämpelauktioner arrangerats. Dessa auktioner arrangeras fortfarande av oss.

VYKORTSAUKTIONER: Den första vykortsauktionen hölls i december 1980 och den sista under säsongen 2008-2009. Totalt har det blivit 25 vykortsauktioner genom åren.

Göran Heijtz är en erkänd specialist på Svenska stämplar och är bland annat huvudredaktör för Facit Postal-katalogen. Han är även ordförande för Sveriges Frimärkshandlareförbund och styrelsemedlem i många olika föreningar inom samlande.
Göran började samla frimärken redan som barn och blev ganska tidigt intresserad av gamla vykort. Först samlade han gamla Stockholms-vykort men samlar numera på många olika kategorier, inte minst signerade kort. Inom filateli samlar han hembygds-filateli (Stockholm samt Värmdö Skeppslag), Svenska Postanvisningar, brev till Sverige före 1900 mm.
Han har ställt ut flera av sina samlingar, både nationellt och internationellt, och fått höga utmärkelser.

Stefan Heijtz är en internationellt erkänd specialist på Falklandsöarnas frimärken och filateli och ger ut den enda specialkatalogen som finns över området "The Specialised Stamp Catalogue of the Falkland Islands and Dependencies", som kom ut i sin femte upplaga 2006. Denna specialitet har medfört att han är konsult åt expert-grupperna i Royal Philatelic Society (London), British Philatelic Association (England) och Philatelic Foundation (New York). Han är även vice ordförande i Stockholms Filatelist Sällskap samt medlem i en lång rad internationella filatelist-föreningar.
Stefan började samla frimärken vid 4 års ålder och intresserade sig tidigt för Brittiska Imperiets frimärken. Vid 13 års ålder inköptes en lite större samling Falklandsöarna på en auktion i Stockholm och därefter började han kommunicera med Postmästaren på Falklandsöarna. Samlingen växte och blev med tiden den bästa posthistorie-samling Falklandsöarna som någonsin funnits. Som sådan har den också ställts ut internationellt många gånger och erhållit ett flertal Guldmedaljer och till och med en Stor Guld och Internationellt Grand Prix.
Stefan samlar även Barbados, St Helena, Puerto Rico mm, samlingar som har eller kommer att ställas ut.

NOVA Stamps AB was founded in 1980 by the brothers Göran and Stefan Heijtz, and is still owned and operated by them. Initially the company operated as an auction house but over the years the business has expanded into general trading of stamps, picture postcards, covers, postmarks etc.

STAMP AUCTIONS: Our first stamp auction was held in October 1980 and the last one in May 2008. During this period 60 stamp auctions were arranged. As of the autumn 2008, stamp auctions are arranged in co-operation with AB Philea.

SWEDISH POSTMARK AUCTIONS: The first postmark auction was held in March 1981 and until 2008 we have arranged 39 postmark auctions. These auctions are still being arranged by us.

PICTURE POSTCARD AUCTIONS: The first postcard auction was held in December 1980 and the last one during the 2008-2009 season. In total there has been 25 postcard auctions during the years.

Göran Heijtz is a recognised specialist of Swedish postmarks and is the main editor of the Facit Postal catalogue. He is also the president of the Swedish Stamp Dealer's Association and board member of many different collector's societies.
Göran started to collect stamps as a child and became interested in old picture postcards at an early stage. Initially he collected old postcards of Stockholm but is now interested in many different categories, not least signed cards. Within philately he has built collections of Stockholm and Värmdö postal history, Swedish Money Orders, covers to Sweden pre 1900 etc.
He has exhibited several of his collections nationally and internationally and received high awards.

Stefan Heijtz is an internationally recognised specialist of the philately of the Falkland Islands and is publisher and editor of the only specialised catalogue of the area "The Specialised Stamp Catalogue of the Falkland Islands and Dependencies", issued in its fifth edition in 2006. This specialisation has also made him a consultant for the expert committees of the Royal Philatelic Society (London), the British Philatelic Association (England) and the Philatelic Foundation (New York). He is also vice president of the Stockholm Philatelist Association as well as member of a large number of international philatelic societies.
Stefan started to collect stamps at the age of four and at an early stage became interested in stamps of the British Empire. At the age of 13, a larger collection of Falkland Islands was bought at a local auction in Stockholm, and he started to communicate with the Postmaster of the Falkland Islands. The collection grew and eventually it became the best postal history collection of the Falkland Islands ever formed. As such it was exhibited internationally many times, receiving a number of Gold Medals and even a Large Gold and International Grand Prix.
Stefan also collects Barbados, St Helena, Puerto Rico etc and these collections have been or will be exhibited.
